Proverbial Koolaid is a forum to share and exchange ideas. Our goal is to be continuously learning and better understand that America is the greatest country in the world.

Proverbial Koolaid is a student of history, economics, and politics as a way to better understand what is really going on in our country and the world.

If we all pause and really think about the “experiment” of democracy that our founding fathers put forward and look at the last 250 years of our history; we will see how successful that model was and is today.

Edmund Burke’s statement, “Those who don’t know history are destined to repeat it”, has never been more true and appropriate. If we know and learn from our history we’ll be less apt to repeat mistakes. Learning from our history is a great guide on how to succeed in the future and is a much better alternative than putting forward agendas that do not work.

At Proverbial Koolaid we do not speak in absolutes and extremes.

If you are really passionate about a topic let us know why, educate us. If you spell it out clearly and we still don’t agree- than we’ll agree to disagree.

If we are intellectually honest, we will be able to achieve great things.
